I’m not sure if you’ve caught it yet, but we’re Nightjar Software
Right now, we’re just a small business (literally it’s just me at this time) trying to make a difference for our fellow small and medium-sized businesses.
I’ve worked in the Software industry for over 4 years now, have 2 degrees in Computer Science, and know a ton of random facts. Okay, I know that last one doesn’t exclusively apply to software - I’m just trying to break the ice.

Who are we for?
We want to work with people who know and understand the benefits of custom software, websites, and experiences. If you also want to understand, you can check out our other blog post talking about why you should go custom. In short, for businesses that are small to medium-sized, your website is typically the only custom piece of software that you have. You don’t have the budget of an enterprise to get custom apps and software made whenever you need it. And because of that, these smaller businesses will often go with some no-code solution like WordPress, WebFlow, SquareSpace, etc. These solutions are far from ideal, and are almost always the wrong choice. We are flexible
Being small ourselves, we know budget is a real concern. Having a lot of upfront money to make something custom is almost never the case. That’s why we try to be as flexible as possible. Usually, we require some amount of downpayment before we start working, and after that we can put together a payment plan that suits your business.

What sets us apart from the competition is that we take the time to get to know you, your business, your goals, your personality, your likes and dislikes, and work with you to create a website and experience that truly reflects your business and what it can do for people.
We are attentive, always follow best practices (we never cut corners), have a high threshold for quality, and an eye for detail.
Not only that, but we’re also real people. We are very understanding, and have certainly been through our fair share of life. We know there’s ups and downs, and we’ll always do our best to support you and your business through them.
